Sarah Williams PT, DPT Clinic Director Pearl Street

She became a physical therapist because she loves helping people get back to their favorite activities. Sarah graduated with her undergrad degree from Tufts University and received her DPT from Lynchburg University.
Sarah loves treating patients with a whole body approach. In her free time, Sarah loves most outdoor activities especially skiing, hiking, and camping, watching sports, going to concerts and exploring local breweries.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, Oshie, named after her favorite Capitals player.
Jill Burkhard PT, DPT
Jill is an orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapist at the Pearl St Specialized location. She went to undergrad at UC Santa Barbara and PT school at West Coast University in Los Angeles.
She fell in love with the mountains during a clinical rotation and has been in Denver ever since. She developed a passion for physical therapy through playing sports in high school, a love of anatomy and physiology, and wanting to help people achieve their movement goals and improve their quality of life.
Jill specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy and enjoys helping people with issues they didn’t even know could be treated. She enjoys analyzing the full body’s function and treating the person as a whole with their unique needs, not the body part.
Jill plays pickleball in a league every Tuesday and on the weekends enjoys skiing, hiking, reading, and drinking wine!
Sophia Trujillo PT, DPT
Sophia is a Physical Therapist from Miami, Fl and attended graduate school at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
She played soccer at San Diego State University and finished her playing career at Florida International University.
Sophia became a physical therapist because she wanted to combine her love for sports and movement with her passion for helping people return to what they love to do.
Sophia is an ortho PT with her Dry Needling certification and loves to treat all patient populations and injuries, especially weekend warriors!
She loves hiking, camping, snowboarding, binge watching Netflix shows, and checking out local breweries.
Kaitlin McGrath PT, DPT
Kaitlin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Physiology from University of Colorado Boulder and a Master’s degree from University of Colorado Denver.
She began her career as a high school science teacher in the Denver Metro area but chose to change course and pursue physical therapy at Mary Baldwin University in central Virginia.
Kaitlin is certified in dry needling and treats a variety of orthopedic conditions across the life span. She believes in the importance of a whole body approach to treatment by utilizing hands-on techniques coupled with therapeutic exercises to help people achieve their goals.
Kaitlin loves the outdoors and enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and everything that Colorado offers. She also enjoys spending time at home with her greyhound.
Thomas Rados, PT, DPT
Thomas is an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at the Pearl Street Clinic. He attended St. Mary’s College of Maryland for undergraduate and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College in Bay Shore, NY. He is certified in Dry Needling and running assessments.
Physical therapy has been part of Thomas’s life since his childhood, with many memories of his uncle, a physical therapist, treating family members at gatherings. He was drawn to how the body works and how just a few minutes of treatment could completely change someone’s mood and understanding of how to take care of themselves.
Physical activity was ingrained in his upbringing. Both of his parents were black belts in karate and avid gym-goers. Watching them taught him the importance of health and longevity, encouraging him to be able to do physical activities throughout the course of his life.
What Thomas loves about physical therapy is the impact he can have on a patient’s whole life, rather than just their condition. Helping them return to activities they never thought they’d be doing again, inspiring them to practice healthier lifestyle choices, or even something as simple as allowing them sleep throughout the night without pain.
Thomas enjoys working with athletes and active individuals who want to return to their sports and other recreational activities, particularly lower body injuries. Growing up he played lacrosse, basketball, swimming, soccer, and most recently Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and rock climbing. He enjoys staying connected to athletes and sport, and that’s one of the many reasons he was drawn to Specialized Physical Therapy – how active and motivated the clientele are, and the emphasis on continued education to consistently improve physical therapy skills.
When not in clinic, he enjoys traveling, working out, hiking, snowboarding, watching comedy, listening to podcasts, finding new and interesting places to eat, and spending time with family, friends, and his dog Jackson.
Shae Patnoe, PT, MSPT
Shae is one of our pelvic floor specialists and treats both male and female patients. She attended the University of Mississippi and played varsity volleyball while earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Regis University in Denver is where she earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy.
She started her career as many PTs do after a great experience as a patient. She is certified in Dry Needling to treat Level 2 and PF. She enjoys treating all PF dysfunctions and spends significant time on patient education.
Shae enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children skiing and being outdoors. Shae also loves playing games and is a novice Bridge player.
Billy Carvatt, PT DPT
Billy is a Colorado native who grew up in the Denver Metro Area where he attended Colorado State University receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine. He then went on to graduate from Regis University where he completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
Billy was first introduced to physical therapy after experiencing a severe ankle injury while pole vaulting in high school. His passion for the field sprouted starting from his own rehabilitation process and grew immensely throughout his experience of helping others return to the activities they love as the aide of the Pearl Street location at Specialized.
Billy is dedicated to providing individualized patient care, utilizing a hands-on comprehensive approach, and positively impacting every patient he comes into contact with. Billy enjoys hiking, attending concerts, and exploring the outdoors with friends and family.
