Our Physical Therapists
Our Littleton physical therapy team is an amazing resource for when you need help getting back to health! Here are the guys and gals who are here to help:
Ellen Csepe PT, DPT, Clinic Director Littleton
Ellen is from Akron, Ohio and has lived in Colorado since 2015. Ellen received her undergraduate degree at the University of Akron and then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Ohio University.
Ellen most recently worked in a setting which provided care for individuals recovering from catastrophic injuries, and has worked with Specialized PT since November 2018.
In July of 2020, Ellen sustained a serious but self-inflicted biking accident where she landed on her head after attempting a 5 foot tall jump. That injury provided substantial insight into what it means to be hurt and to recover from an injury. She sat for her board certification in Neurological Physical Therapy after feeling recommitted to caring for those who face the same serious injuries she evaded.
She passed her certification test, now able to confidently provide the best possible treatment to those with all neurological injuries. Ellen also teaches with the Institute of Clinical Excellence within their Older Adult division, traveling the country to teach other clinicians the best way to care for older adults and future older people.
Ellen loves caring for those that have been stripped of their hope and need an assuring partner for she short and long journeys in their health. Ellen joyfully operates as the clinic director of the Littleton location, gladly leading a team of clinicians who share her outlook on empowering others and instilling hope.
The Littleton team has been described as “a nest of angels” and “Disneyland” by patients and staff members alike. When Ellen isn’t at work she is typically with her husband, Jon and their dog, Bodi. Together they love going to church, mountain biking, hiking in the moonlight, skiing, visiting Ellen’s family in Ohio, going to the beach, paddle boarding, laying by the pool, cooking, and sitting by the fireplace.
