What Is The Elbow Pain Called?

Say you’ve got a condition where the outer part of your elbow is sore and the forearm muscles and tendons seem to have become damaged from overuse and repetitive motions, or from a sudden injury. Lateral epicondylitis is when the condition is sudden or acute or lateral epicondylosis when it’s a chronic or long-term condition.
Other medical terms include elbow tendinitis or tendonitis, again in acute or sudden cases, elbow tendinosis or tendonosis for chronic or long-term cases or elbow tendinopathy or tendonopathy to cover either situation. Some doctors just call it elbow pain, elbow tendon injury, and elbow overuse injury.
